Bishop Thabile Mnisi-Msibi, Founder of MS Care

Mission Society Care’s dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to realise our vision of serving all of God’s children. The ways in which we serve God’s most vulnerable children are primarily by providing physical sustenance, healthcare and information, as well as by assisting them to become more economically secure. We source and distribute food, medication and services. We also do capacity building, skills development and poverty alleviation through project development. We provide spiritual and emotional support as well. Specifically, MS Care seeks to:

  • Create awareness of the HIV/AIDS pandemic through the dissemination of information

  • Help with the management of home-based care for people infected with HIV/AIDS still living at home

  • Assist affected families to access state support and generate income so as to alleviate poverty

  • Care for orphans; the elderly; disabled, abused and abandoned people

  • Provide care to people infected with AIDS who are approaching the end of their lives, allowing them to die and be buried with dignity

  • Provide job training, skill building, and job placement for unemployed people
