Founder Dr. Thabile Mnisi-Msibi and Kids at MS Care

For more than twenty years, Mission Society Care (MS Care) has sought to provide care, education and a source of hope for people at the margins of society in South Africa. We are a voluntary, multi-racial nonprofit organisation committed to sharing God’s love with all those who need it – particularly the most vulnerable in our community.

At the height of the HIV/AIDs pandemic in South Africa, MS Care focused its resources primarily on educating people about prevention; caring for people living with the disease through the end of life; and providing countless children orphaned by AIDS with food, friendship, and after school programs.

Today, we are a registered Job Seekers Center and provide a wide range of services to the community such as job training and placement, skill building, farming, mentoring and counseling, and more.

What began as a simple shelter in the township of Orange Farm, south of Johannesburg, has evolved into an active community centre serving orphans, job seekers, the elderly, sick and disabled people, abused women and children, and other vulnerable people seek our support.

Please join us in our work on behalf of all of God’s children.
